Statuses are the different steps or phases that you want to track for the order from the time the order is placed until it is shipped.

Searching Statuses
If your shop has a large list of Statuses, you can use the "Search Statuses" field at the top of the page to locate a specific status in the list.
The Search will look for matching text in the ID, Status Name and Public name fields
Creating a New Status
Steps
- Open the Statuses page
- Press New Status
- Enter values for each of the fields in the dialog
- Display Order: controls the order the Statuses are displayed in
- Tag: The internal name that you will see when working in the admin
- Name: the public name your customers will see
- Tag Color: the background color of the status tag that is displayed in the admin
- Font Color: the font color of the status tag that is displayed in the admin
- Sends Notifications to Customer: Check if you want this status to notify the customer when it has been set on an order
- Additional Emails: enter a comma separated list of email addresses that you would like to receive the notification in addition to the customer. These are typically internal company addresses.
- Press Save
Editing a Status
Steps
- Open the Statuses page
- Press ... next to the status you would like to edit
- Press Edit
- Update the fields
- Press Save
Copy a Status
Copying a status will create a duplicate of the selected status, including the associated message templates if there are any.
The new Status will appear on the list with " -copy" added to the status name. Once the new status is created, you can edit the status to update the names.
Steps
- Open the Statuses page
- Press ... next to the status you would like to copy
- Press Copy
Delete a Status
Steps
- Open the Statuses page
- Press ... next to the status you would like to delete
- Press Delete
- Press Delete in the confirmation dialog
