Setting an order status
You can change the order status by updating multiple orders at once or by updating a single order.
When you update an order, you can set the following properties:
- Status:
- Due Date
- Public Notes
- Private Notes
When saving, have the option of updating the status and information without sending notifications to the customer if needed.
Update Multiple Orders
When you update multiple orders simultaneously, all orders will have the same status and information. (status, due date, public and private notes)
Steps:
- Select the checkbox next to the orders you want to update
- Select the Edit Orders button
- Enter the desired status, due date, public notes and private notes
- Press Save & Notify to update the orders and send the notifications
- If the status you are setting the orders to is not configured to send a notification, you will only see a Save button
- if you want to save the status and information without sending notification, use the drop down arrow and select Save without notifying
Update Single Order
Steps:
- Select the Status icon on the order list
- Enter the desired status, due date, public notes and private notes
- Press Save & Notify to update the orders and send the notifications
- If the status you are setting the orders to is not configured to send a notification, you will only see a Save button
- if you want to save the status and information without sending notification, use the drop down arrow and select Save without notifying
