The workstation scan tool allows the merchant to scan the Order QR code to load an order and then scan a Status QR to set the status. This tool is designed primarily for workstation use, where speed is the primary objective.
Step 1
Print out the QR code labels for your statuses.
You can print labels for all of your statuses at the same time by using the "Print Labels" button at the top of the status page, or you can print labels one at a time by using the "Print Label" button in the status action menu.
Each Label will have a QR code and the name of the status:
Step 2
Print your order details with the QR code.
You can print your orders by first selecting the orders you want to print on the order page and then selecting the "Print Orders" button.
Each order will have a QR code at the top of the page. The template for the order details is 100% editable and can be found under Settings > Print Order Template
To add the QR code to your template, use the following HTML tag.
<qr-code/>
Step 3
Open the Workstation Scan tool
There are a couple of options on the scan tool page, which are applied to every order that is updated. By default, the "Send notifications" option is turned on. When this option is turned on, the app will send email and SMS notifications if the new status is configured to send notifications. You can also set the due date, private notes, and public notes.
Scanning:
Ensure your cursor is in the "Scan Order" field, and then scan the QR code on the order. This will locate the order in the system.
Next, scan the QR code for the new status. The order will be updated and ready for you to scan for the next order.
