Each step in a workflow can be scheduled to automatically move to the next step in the current workflow or to any other status in your shop.
- Open the workflow you would like to edit
- Select Schedule on the step you want to automate
- Enter Time, Interval and Action Fields
- Select Notification Options
- Press OK
The following screenshot shows the automation for a step that will advance to the next step in the workflow 5 days after it has been set. The automation will also notify the "additional emails" configured in the status, but it will not notify the customers.
You will be able to tell which orders have a scheduled status change by looking for the stars next to the status. Clicking on the stars will tell you when the schedule status change will take place.
