Overview:
In order for emails to be sent over the internet, a mail server is required. By default, we offer usage of our personal mail server included with your monthly subscription to the Quick Quote application. This will send the emails from the w3apps.co address. This unfortunately means that the emails cannot be sent from your domain, and the customer will receive all emails from our w3apps domain.
We do however offer an alternative method of sending emails from your own Mailgun account if you have one. This can be found at the bottom of the settings page of our Quick Quote application.
If you wish to use this feature, you must go to mailgun.com and sign up to your own subscription. Here is a link to their pricing page: https://www.mailgun.com/pricing
- Once you have picked the pricing plan that suits your needs, you will have to set up a domain.
- After you've finished setting up your account, you should be given an API key.
Once you have these two pieces of information, you can enter them within our app in the Mailgun section.
For a bit more information, we have created another tutorial here:
Please make sure that all of your information is 100% correct, otherwise the app will fail to send the emails and it will not notify you within our app. Please send a few test emails to yourself to ensure that your personalized mailserver is correctly sending the emails.
