Previously, it was required that the customer enter BOTH their email, and an Order Number. However, we received many requests to add the option to remove the Order Number, allow order search by Email only.
This is now available within the Custom Order Status app, and can be accomplished by following the tutorial below.
You can change the settings to allow customer to look up one order (using Order Number and Email Address) or all orders previously placed (using only Email Address). To do this, click on the Order Lookup Settings tab and check the box next to Don't Show Lookup Order Number:
You can also edit the Order List Template and Order List CSS styles at the bottom of the Settings page:
Now the customer can enter their email and see all previous orders:
Clicking on the View Details link will let Customers review that order like if they had directly searched it:
Customers can click on the Back To List button to go back to the previous screen or Search Again to begin a new search:
