Below are the most common reasons why your customers are not receiving their emails.
When Using the default mail provider (w3apps.co)
- Make sure that your email templates have a From Name, From Email, and Email Subject. The emails will not send without these fields completed. make sure that the From Email is a valid email address.
- Emails sent from the default email provider are sent from the domain name "w3apps.co" on behalf of the email address that you entered in the template settings. Some email providers will mark these emails as spam since the From Email domain does not match the actual domain sending the emails and the mail will be delivered to the customer's spam or Junk folders.
Using your own domain
- Make sure that your email templates have a From Name, From Email, and Email Subject. The emails will not send without these fields completed. make sure that the From Email is a valid email address.
- Confirm that the From Email address is using the domain name that you verified. For example, if the verified domain name is "mx.w3trends.io" then the from email address should be from the same domain "support@mx.w3trends.io"
- Check to make sure that the domain verification has been completed. Each DNS record will have a green verified badge next to it once it has been fully verified. This process usually only takes a few minutes, but it could take up to 48 hours.
- Check the email logs for the status of the email. The email Logs will show you all of the emails that have been sent by the application. Clicking on the email will allow you to see the history of the email and verify if the email was successfully delivered or if the email was blocked, etc.
- Check the Suppression list to see all email addresses that have been blocked or bounced. If an email is in this list, it means that the email was not able successfully delivered and future attempts to send emails to the suppressed emails will be skipped.
